The coronavirus pandemic brought a slew of changes to the tech world: a pivot to remote work full-time, a rise in automation that caused many companies to go into overdrive and a mass migration to the Sunshine State.

And tech companies are now taking advantage.

Many companies in the Tampa Bay region have gone into a hiring spree, some with over 100 openings. We've rounded up some of the top tech companies that are mass hiring below. Feel free to post your listings on our job site.

Omnivore


The Omnivore platform can be used by restaurant owners to better integrate and use technology that is exploding in the food industry.

The restaurant tech startup, founded by Outback Steakhouse's co-founder Chris Sullivan, is looking to hire a number of positions including:

The edtech company has seen massive engagement during the pandemic, racking up partnerships with industry giants including FPL and Johns Hopkins. The company became a fully remote team in March, with its home base remaining in Tampa, according to CEO Samyr Qureshi. Some of positions to join the "Knack Pack" include:

The former Silicon Valley-based insurance tech company recently moved to Tampa and shortly closed a $6.6 million round with the help of Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik. The company has at least 10 positions open solely for Tampa, along with five positions open for remote. The openings range from engineering to customer success, sales and more. The former New York-based fintech company recently settled into its new HQ home in St. Petersburg and will be opening its office officially April 15. The company's CEO Don Scherer told the Tampa Bay Business Journal he expects to hire for 300 roles locally by the end of the year. Some of the positions, for which there are multiple spots, include:
