BlockSpaces and R3’s Corda Partner Network Announce Blockchain Education Partnership

BlockSpaces and R3’s Corda Partner Network today announced a strategic partnership to provide BlockSpaces community members with professional education and training to expand the blockchain developer community. Blockchain, the ground breaking technology behind bitcoin, has developed rapidly over the last decade with potential to impact every major industry, including supply chains, healthcare, insurance, transportation, voting, and contract management.

“The blockchain industry is emerging so rapidly, educational institutions, businesses, investors and traditional work environments cannot keep up with the rate of innovation nor the demand for blockchain solutions,” says Rosa Shores, BlockSpaces co-founder. “BlockSpaces and R3 have many common goals of expanding the Corda developer community and expanding the adoption of Corda as an Enterprise Blockchain platform. Soon, BlockSpaces looks forward to offering full Corda certification training.”

BlockSpaces is an education and development center dedicated to advancing blockchain technologies locally and globally, with a mission to foster a dynamic community that is a launch pad and growth pipeline for innovative companies, startups, and talented individuals in the blockchain technology arena. Expanding live and online professional development opportunities focus on blockchain education, training and certification courses relevant for professionals in multiple disciplines.

Corda is an open source, blockchain-inspired DLT platform that removes costly friction in business transactions by enabling institutions to transact directly using smart contracts, while ensuring the highest levels of privacy and security. It is the outcome of over two years of intense research and development by R3 and its 100+ members. The global network of partners works with R3 to develop innovative apps for finance and commerce on the Corda blockchain platform. R3’s rapidly growing global ecosystem comprises over 200 companies and regulators on six continents, making it the largest collaboration of its kind in the blockchain space.
