2020 Is The Decade For Fintech Revolution

The 1920s was a decade of new inventions that shaped America. Including the assembly line, automobile, washing machine, radio, television and refrigerator just to name a few. Like the previous decade a century ago, 2020 will be a decade of FinTech innovations and technological breakthroughs that will transform how we operate.

FinTech is the intersection of finance and technology and it is rapidly transforming the financial services sector. In 2019 alone, Apple announced the launch of its Apple Card in partnership with Goldman Sachs, Google announced that it will start offering checking accounts in the U.S., while Amazon and Airbnb announced a partnership with JPMorgan to provide an e-wallet for payment processing and cash movement. Mobile banking apps like Venmo and Zelle, robo-advisors and peer-to-peer lending services, crowdfunding campaigns and cryptocurrencies – these are all Fintech innovations. And like most innovation, the talent often lies with the rebels and misfits that are daring enough to challenge the status quo.
